- The Concerned Shareholders of Klondex Mines Ltd. (“Klondex” or the
“Company”), owning approximately 8% of the issued and outstanding shares
of Klondex, announce today that, in light of the current mail strike,
they have offered to pay for all expenses associated with couriering to
shareholders the Company’s response to the concerned shareholder
The Concerned Shareholders believe it is important that all shareholders
are fully informed of the relevant issues so that they can properly
consider the future of Klondex at its Annual General Meeting on June 30,
2011. The Concerned Shareholders are also aware of the disruption the
mail strike may cause to the proxy solicitation process.
Accordingly, the Concerned Shareholders have advised the Company that
any written response that management of the Company may have to the
concerned shareholder information circular should be delivered by
courier directly to shareholders, and that if the Company has any
concerns about the cost, the Concerned Shareholders are prepared to bear
all of the expenses associated with the Company’s courier delivery.
It is important that the meeting proceed without delay on June 30, 2011
so that shareholders can decide the future of the Company.
Shareholders are asked to vote their YELLOW form of proxy today FOR
the Concerned Shareholders nominees and enable them to maximize
shareholder value, strengthen corporate governance and enhance Klondex’s
technical and financial expertise.
It is important that shareholders vote their YELLOW proxy before the proxy deadline at 11:00
a.m. (Toronto time) on June 28, 2011. Shareholders who require
